# Common leave plan scenarios

### Annual Leave

#### Key settings for Annual Leave:

- **LEAVE TYPE:** Annual Leave
- **HAS A BALANCE:** Yes
- **Entitlement rules:**
  - **ENTITLEMENT GRANTED:** Anniversary date
  - **ENTITLEMENT AMOUNT:** 4.00
  - **ENTITLEMENT UNITS:** Weeks

### Sick Leave

#### Key settings for Sick Leave:

- **LEAVE TYPE:** Sick Leave
- **AVAILABLE TO ALL:** No
- **HAS A BALANCE:** Yes
- **Entitlement rules:**
  - **ENTITLEMENT GRANTED:** Service duration
  - **ENTITLEMENT AMOUNT:** 10
  - **ENTITLEMENT UNITS:** Days
  - **DURATION IN YEARS:** 0.50
  - **MAXIMUM CARRY OVER BALANCE:** 20
- **Sub-entitlement rules:**
  - **SUB-ENTITLEMENT GRANTED:** Service duration
  - **SUB-ENTITLEMENT AMOUNT:** 10
  - **SUB-ENTITLEMENT UNITS:** Days
  - **SUB-DURATION IN YEARS:** 1
