Setting up additional Organisation Components

After setting up Organisation Components that are Legal Entities and Organisation Owners, you can add additional Organisation Components. These can be used to connect with Occupancies, which help with reporting, recruiting, and budgeting. They can also be connected to Upskilling and Performance Groups if you want to assign specific Organisation Components to particular groups

How to add an Organisation Component

  1. Go to BUSINESS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS to open the organisation components catalogue.

  2. Select Add component to open the ADD ORGANISATION COMPONENT panel.

  3. Select a component type by opening the COMPONENT TYPES backpack and selecting a component from the list.

  4. Enter the COMPONENT NAME.

    • Each organisation component must have a unique name for each component type.

  5. (Optional) Enter the COMPONENT DESCRIPTION.

  6. Set ACTIVE to Yes or No.

    • If set to No, organisation component can't be used throughout Jemini until ACTIVE is changed to Yes.

    • If set to Yes, the organisation component will be available immediately.

  7. (Optional) Select the LOCATION.

    • LOCATION is an optional feature that enables you to filter or categorise your organisation components by location when reporting.

  8. (Optional) Select the FUNCTION.

    • FUNCTION is another optional feature that enables you to filter or categorise your organisation components by location when reporting.

    • It can also be used to sort your organisation components by Function rather than Type in the Organisation Components view.

  9. Set LEGAL ENTITY to No.

  10. Set OWNER to No.

  11. Select the Green Tick Button to save and close the panel.

The organisation component will be added to the list of organisation components in the catalogue. These are sorted by Type by default. Repeat the above steps until you’ve created all the organisations components you need.

How to edit an organisation component

  1. Go to BUSINESS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS to open the organisation components catalogue.

  2. Select the organisation component card you need to change. The ORGANISATION COMPONENT panel will open.

  3. Make any relevant changes to the organisation component.

  4. Select the Green Tick Button to save and close the panel.

How to delete an organisation component

IMPORTANT

If the organisation component is already in use, it can’t be deleted, as any changes will interfere with the organisation structure.

  1. Go to BUSINESS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS > ORGANISATION COMPONENTS to open the organisation components catalogue.

  2. Select the organisation component card you need to delete. The ORGANISATION COMPONENT panel will open.

  3. Select the Delete Button to remove the organisation component. A confirmation message will ask you if you're sure you want to delete the organisation component.

  4. Select Go ahead.
