The curricula catalogue is used to group courses together. When you assign a curriculum to an employee, all the courses contained in the curriculum will automatically be assigned to the employee as well. For example, an onboarding curriculum may have a series of courses that are all related to the things the employee needs to learn when first starting their job.

Create a new curriculum

  1. Go to the curricula catalogue
  2. Click Add Curriculum
  3. Enter Name (required) and description (optional)
  4. Select a start date – required - this controls when the curriculum will be available/visible
  5. Select end date – optional – useful if you only want this curriculum to be available for a short time
  6. Select the courses to include in the curriculum (optional as you can drag courses into the curriculum later if needed)
  7. Add curriculum pre-requisites (optional)
  8. Select if additional courses can be added. This setting means that a manager or employee will be able to add a course from the course catalogue to their Your Jemini version of the curriculum at any time. Learning Administrators can add courses in the curricula catalogue regardless of this setting.
  9. Save

Curriculum should only be deleted if they have been created in error. Curricula that are no longer valid can be made inactive instead so as not to lose any course completion records.

  1. To delete
    a. Remove connections
    i. Click on the jigsaw symbol
ii. Remove all employees or organization components
iii. Remove the curriculum from all connections and employees
    iv. Close connections panel
    b. Remove courses (drag them out of the curriculum)
    c. Click on the Delete button next to the curriculum title (or within the edit panel)

Make a curriculum inactive

Making it inactive will hide the curriculum from the Employees Upskilling but will retain course completion data. Curriculum should always be made inactive unless they have been created in error.

  1. Open the curricula catalogue
  2. Click on the pencil next to the curriculum heading
  3. At the bottom of the panel, toggle the Active button to Red
