How to find the detail panel

When you select a card, the detail panel will open either on the right side of your screen or in the middle, depending on what kind of view you've set up. Find out how to change your view settings in Helpful hints for using Jemini

What’s in the detail panel?

You can view the Course Details, the Course Progress, and provide Feedback. You can also see the Status of a course and session.

Some courses will be locked. If so, you’ll see the locked icon which means you need to Complete a prerequisite before doing that course. You’ll see the Prerequisites listed on the course card.

Courses with online content

A new window will open when accessing courses that are online (such as eLearning, Webinars, and some Independent courses).

TIP:

Please don’t exit the Jemini window you are using when accessing an online course.
It’s ok to exit the page the course is running on at any time but note that a new Jemini window will open. Close the new window and leave open the initial Jemini window while you do the course. When you go back to the initial page, you’ll see the panel is still open. Save the panel before leaving the screen.

Courses with Sessions

For Instructor Led and Webinar courses, you can choose from the available sessions. If it’s a session that needs approval it will go to a manager to approve. If approval is not needed, you will automatically be allocated to that session.

If the class list is full, you’ll be placed on a wait list until it’s approved. The card attached to the session tells you the number of people in the class and the number of people on the wait list.

If you get approved for a session but don’t attend, then you’ll have to select a new session.

TIP:

Instructor Led and Webinar courses may require approval from your manager before attending that session. In this case, your approval will be pending.

Courses with Tasks

If you begin an On-the-Job course, with Tasks added, you can complete these by selecting Open.

You can view details such as task information, Links, Notes and Attachments. However, the ability to add new Links, Notes and Attachments depends on what the task settings are. Some tasks may ask you to acknowledge that you have read the task content or to add your signature.

Once you've completed a task, you can change the Status of the task to Done.

TIP:

Settings are dependent on what choices LMS administrators have made.
